Andre chose perennial jobber to the stars "Special Delivery" Jones as his partner so fans knew something bad was going to happen.

The powerful team of "Big" John Studd and "The Olympic Strongman" Ken Patera had been handpicked by Bobby "The Brain" Heenan to take on Andre the Giant.

Despite his reputation as a guy who lost more often than not, S.D. Jones put on a good showing against Patera & Studd.

When Andre tagged in, Patera wanted nothing of it.

Andre's incredible size and power was too much for Patera.

When things got too rough for S.D. Jones, he wisely tagged out to Andre.

Unfortunately the wiley Ken Patera tossed S.D. out as he tagged in Andre. 

Sending S.D. Jones to the floor where he assumed the position he was best known for- on his back and senseless.

With his partner out of action, Andre tore into Patera.

Andre unloads on Patera.

Andre smashes his five hundred pound frame into Patera.

However when Andre tries the move again, Patera lifts his knee up, stunning the giant.

Patera closes in on a stunned Andre.

Not bothering with a tag, Studd enters the ring and pummels Andre.

Both titans lift Andre's mammoth frame.

In a feat rarely seen, Andre is lifted up and bodyslammed by Patera and Studd.

Patera and Studd deliver one of the most brutal beatings ever seen in the WWF.

After Studd refuses to return to his corner, the referee has no choice but to disqualify Studd and Patera.  However the damage has already been done.

Fans at ringside are stunned (including one particular fan from Mudlick, KY).

Bobby Heenan hands a pair of scissors to Studd. 

Andre is raped of his dignity by Studd and Patera as they deliver an unwanted haircut to Andre.
