 NAME: COL. DEBEERS

REAL NAME: ED WISKOSKI

FINISHING MOVE: FACEFIRST PILEDRIVER

Wiskoski was a former college linebacker who began wrestling in 1971.  He wrestled mostly in the Pacific Northwest with occasional tours of  Austria and West Germany.  In 1980 he was brought into the World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF) to feud with Ivan Putski as "The Polish Prince".  The gig didn't last long and Wiskoski returned to the Pacific Northwest.

Wiskoski's career gained some life when he appeared in the American Wrestling Association (AWA) as Colonel DeBeers, a racist South African wrestler.  DeBeers feuded with Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka after delivering a facefirst piledriver to Snuka on the concrete floor during an AWA show.  He also feuded with Sgt. Slaughter.  DeBeers was a good talker and knew how to incite a crowd.  He used the facefirst piledriver, a move today known as the Pedigree.

DeBeers recently appeared at the WrestleReunion show in 2005.
