However after the commercial break, "Cowboy" Bill Watts tells the fans that DiBiase has received medical treatment and demanded that he be allowed to continue.

Like Flair, DiBiase knows how to use the figure four leglock and he sets out to make the champion submit.

 311.png

Flair is a ring general and he quickly reaches for the nearby ropes, forcing the referee to make DiBiase break the hold.

 331.png

Realizing his error, DiBiase goes to apply the figure four in the center of the ring.  However Flair isn't going to let that happen.

 35.png

Flair kicks DiBiase off and through the ropes.

 38.png

DiBiase has reached his limits and he's unable to answer the referee's ten count.

 39.png

Ric Flair wins the match by countout.

 42.png

Dick Murdoch returns to the scene of the crime and resumes his attack on DiBiase.

 45.png

Murdoch is not going to forgive DiBiase for taking what he considers his title shot.
