introduces the NWA World Heavyweight Champion Ric (not "Rick")
Flair. |
|

Dick Murdoch tells DiBiase that he
needs to step aside and let him face off against Flair.
DiBiase calls Murdoch "yesterday's news" and the two soon are
going at it. |

During the DiBiase/Murdoch melee,
Ric Flair sneak attacks DiBiase, sending him outside the
ring. |

condition. |

Ric Flair tells the fans that

opportunity. It's clear that there's not going to be a
title match tonight. |

However after the commercial break,
"Cowboy" Bill Watts tells the fans that DiBiase has received
medical treatment and demanded that he be allowed to
continue. |

As a result, the match is back
on! |

use the figure four leglock and he sets out to make the
champion submit. |
|

Flair is a ring general and he
quickly reaches for the nearby ropes, forcing the referee to
make DiBiase break the hold. |

Realizing his error, DiBiase goes
to apply the figure four in the center of the ring.
However Flair isn't going to let that happen. |
|

Flair kicks DiBiase off and through
the ropes. |

DiBiase has reached his limits and
he's unable to answer the referee's ten
count. |
|

Ric Flair wins the match by
countout. |

Dick Murdoch returns to the scene
of the crime and resumes his attack on
DiBiase. |

Murdoch is not going to forgive
DiBiase for taking what he considers his title
shot. |
